ERX and PQRI Incentive from Medicare update

Fotolia_54267958_Subscription_Monthly_MAre you waiting from Medicare to get your ERX Incentive for the year 2009?

If this is true, then the good news is that they started sending it now. I know a physician who lost his incentive just by 1%. The requirement to submit ERX for Medicare patients was 40% and he was determined that his qualified numbers were only 39%. I was disappointed more than him because we made sure all of our doctors who are genuinely sending ERX were getting paid from Medicare. I made few calls and got some information which is important for everyone to know. If you want to get your ERX or PQRI incentive report, please register yourself with Medicare here.

This website is exclusively made for Medicare incentive programs (this is not the same PECOS registration). You can access your reports and get the data that is qualified to get the incentives. Remember, there is a huge process before you get access to this site, so the best would be to have someone who knows about PECOS or Medicare in order to access this.

I also want to update you in this blog on how you can submit your EHR incentives; also, using a link which is exclusively created for EHR incentives on this CMS website.

I hope 2011 will be a better year for all the practices if they follow the instructions on the above links and are able to register successfully to get the Medicare incentives.

As always, if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
